Disappointed….Fun fact, I work for a commercial coffee company but will choose, a local, independently owned coffee shop, over it every time. I got a seasonal cardamom and honey latte. I figured with house made syrups the flavors may be more subtle so I ordered it extra sweet. I didn’t taste the honey and the warm, floral taste of cardamom didn’t come through at all. So yea I was pretty disappointed to pay $9.00 bucks for a 16oz (largest size they have) breve latte with cold foam

Service is great, with a very friendly and helpful staff. The interior is kind of bland, with while walls, worn wood/vinyl floors, and nothing on the walls. It's a pretty straightforward coffee shop with plenty of space to sit down to work/study. The coffee. I found it to be a little acidic, taking away from what could've been a great cup of coffee. I tried their honey latte, an undertow (espresso w/vanilla creme) and their coldbrew and cocacola across my visits. It was decent, but nothing to ooh and aww over.

LOVE this place! Definitely gets busy early if you want to sit down, but I see why when the latte art, kind faces, and atmosphere is beautiful! ❤️

This place is truly special! Traveling around the nation on music tours I’m always in search of the best coffee shop a city has to offer and believe it or not, Monomyth Coffee in Lubbock has captured something extraordinary and sits in my top 3 in all of the US. The beans are sourced from some of the best locations around the globe and are responsibly roasted to perfection. I always grab a back of Ethiopian when I visit. I’ve never had an espresso that was even mildly out of balance. It’s on the nose Everytime, and it is this relentless dedication to consistency that I love about the place. Everything is delicious and perfect all of the time. They offer a seasonal menu of unique and well executed drinks like the Cherry Lime Espresso Tonic, or Cherry Cold Brew Cola which I enjoyed today. Even with coffee shops being on every corner, drinks like that are hard to find - even harder to make just right - but they do. They also source their pastry selection from a local bakery and it is always top-tier. The vibe lives up to the quality of what they serve as well! Nestled in an old craftsman home in the heart of Lubbock, Monomyth features the perfect balance of a cleanly minimal aesthetic

This was one of the best cold brews I have had in a long time. The coffee shop is super cute, the cashier was very kind and I bought myself a cute sticker for my computer. Definitely recommend.
